Your itinerary for a week in Southern Africa – during the months May to October
Fly into Johannesburg – and transfer to Kasane
3 days of game viewing in the Chobe game reserve on a houseboat, 2 days at a game lodge and then transfer to Victoria Falls. 2 nights at Victoria Falls
Itinerary for 1 week in South Africa – during the months November to April
Fly to Johannesburg and on to Port Elizabeth. Then drive up to a game lodge in the Addo area for 2 nights. Fly to George and spend 2 nights in Knysna, then fly George to Cape Town for 3 nights. In November you may still catch whales along the Garden Route coastline.
Alternatively, fly to Johannesburg and transfer to George. Spend 3 nights in Knysna or George, fly to Cape Town and 4 days in Cape Town.
Your highlights in Cape Town are to go up Table Mountain, take the ferry to Robben Island from the V&A Waterfront, Take a drive along the coast from the V&A Waterfront past Sea Point, through Bantry Bay and Clifton to Hout Bay and then if time allows continue via Chapman’s Peak Drive to Noordhoek and then on to Cape Point.
