Onguma Game Reserve on the Eastern border of Etosha National

Onguma Bush Camp in Etosha National Park in Namibia offers 19 rooms and is ideal for families with children. Family loft rooms ensure the kids will have a great safari. The lounge and dining areas overlook a stunning waterhole that affords great opportunities to see nature at play around the clock. You don’t even have to leave the camp to see game – they come to you! What better place to enjoy a sundowner drink.
Onguma Bush Camp consists of 8 twin bedded standard rooms which includes 3 rooms with a children’s sleep area in the loft, 6 twin bedded Waterhole/Pool-View Rooms, 3 family units with 4 beds, 1 Settler’s Room (formerly the honeymoon suite) as well as 2 single tour guide rooms. The Waterhole/Pool-View Rooms are built with views of the newly enlarged waterhole or views across the pool.
Onguma Bush Camp offers 3 family loft rooms with twin sleeping facilities in the loft. In addition there are another 4 family rooms. There is a games room in the main area and a fenced garden area.
Onguma Bush Camp offers 6 newly built waterhole or pool – view rooms with en-suite facilities. They are are situated to either side of the main complex and have lovely bush views.
The Settler’s room is slightly larger than other rooms at Onguma Bush Camp and has a private lounge area.
There is a swimming pool and a thatched bar, lounge and dining area that overlooks the extensive waterhole. A small games room and meeting room further increases the versatility of this much loved camp close to the Etosha National Park in Namibia.

Our nature reserve boasts over thirty different animal species consisting of plains game including kudu, giraffe, eland, oryx, hartebeest, zebra, impala and many more roam freely as well as predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, being common residents of the area.
The latest addition to the already abundant wildlife at Onguma Game Reserve is a family of black rhinos! More than 300 bird species can also be viewed at Onguma Game Reserve. During the Namibian summer months the nature reserve becomes a bird-watcher’s paradise with thousands of species migrating to the wetlands created by the seasonal rains and ephemeral river systems.
