iSibindi Zulu Lodge is situated within the 4000 acre Isibindi Eco-Reserve which offers diverse habitats ranging from montane Isibindi Zulu Lodge Game Lodge | Rorkes Drift grassland and valley thornveld to riverine forests. The reserve is home to abundant indigenous game, morning and evening game drives are offered and there is excellent bird watching. A tour of the homestead is conducted by the sangoma who can also be encouraged to ‘throw the bones’, which is an ancient Zulu art of fortune telling and rain wishing.

This 12 bed lodge is a peaceful bushveld retreat with accommodation designed in an architectural celebration of the Zulu nation. All rooms are set with magnificent views over the isinbid Eco-reserve. All rooms are en suite and 2 of the rooms have a double bed. Triples are possible to accommodate a child – please discuss with reservations.

We are located within a private game reserve with daily game activities – walks, drive – not Big 5, but it is a wonderful opportunity to explore Isibindi’s natural environment. Excellent birding, hiking & challenging mountain bike riding.
